In the context of the new technologies development, multimedia production requires an interdisciplinary collaboration for students in different areas: media, journalism, design/ arts and informatics. From an idea to the point of defining a concept and finally developing a successful product we undergo a process that is so much dependent on an interdisciplinary team, on the capacity of finding resources, on promoting and meeting the needs of a national and international multimedia market.
Participants: 60 students were present.
The students were presented with different multimedia applications that were part of international competitions. The discussions were on how to conceive and develop innovative multimedia products in order to participate in international competitions, how to work in teams, how to use the new technologies in order to have a better impact.
The conference also inspired the launching of a discussion group for collaboration and creation of products for international competitions. The first meeting of this group took place on the 2nd of April at the Continuous Education and Distance Learning Centre.
